At RIMAL, we are committed to delivering your jewelry with care and transparency. This Shipping Policy explains our processing times, delivery estimates, and important information about domestic and international shipments.
1. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). During peak seasons, sales events, or holidays, processing may take slightly longer.
If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request if your order has not yet been processed or shipped.
2. SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS
We offer various shipping methods to meet your needs. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and vary based on your destination and selected shipping method.
All shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary based on carrier performance, destination, and external factors beyond our control.
3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)
For orders shipped within the United States:
- Standard Shipping: Typically 4-8 business days after dispatch
- Express Shipping: Typically 2-4 business days after dispatch
Delivery times are estimates based on business days and do not include weekends, holidays, or order processing time.
4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship to locations worldwide. International delivery times vary based on destination and shipping method selected:
- Standard International Shipping: Typically 5-12 business days after dispatch
- Express International Shipping: Typically 3-8 business days after dispatch
International shipments may experience delays due to customs clearance, local regulations, or destination-specific factors. These delays are beyond our control and are not included in estimated delivery times.
5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES
5.1 Customer Responsibility
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any other fees imposed by their destination country. These charges are determined by local authorities and must be paid by the recipient.
5.2 Customs Declarations
We declare all shipments accurately and in accordance with applicable laws. We cannot mark packages as gifts or alter declared values.
5.3 Customs Delays
Delays caused by customs clearance are beyond our control and are not considered grounds for refunds or order cancellations.
6. SHIPMENT TRACKING
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to monitor your shipment's progress.
7. RISK OF LOSS AND DELIVERY
7.1 Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier records delivery to your shipping address (for example, a "Delivered" scan). Where you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules on risk transfer, those statutory rules apply. Any replacements or refunds we may offer for items lost or damaged in transit are provided at our discretion and do not waive this allocation of risk.
7.2 Delivery Confirmation
If carrier tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please contact the carrier immediately to initiate an investigation and notify us at support@rimaljewelry.com with the carrier's claim reference or investigation details. We may be able to assist further based on the carrier's findings. Carrier scans are treated as evidence of delivery unless the carrier confirms loss or misdelivery.
8. SHIPPING ADDRESS
8.1 Accuracy Required
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses provided by you.
8.2 Address Changes
Address changes must be requested as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to change the delivery address.
8.3 Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to claim the package, you may be responsible for original shipping costs, return shipping costs, and any applicable customs fees. We will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense.
9. DELAYS AND EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We are not liable for shipping delays or failures caused by:
- Carrier delays or service disruptions
- Customs clearance procedures
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
- Local delivery restrictions or regulations
- Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions
- Government actions, acts of terrorism, or other force majeure events
While we will make reasonable efforts to assist you with tracking and resolving delivery issues, we cannot guarantee delivery by any specific date.
10. MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS
10.1 Reporting Issues
If your order arrives damaged, with missing items, or is incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@rimaljewelry.com with:
- Your order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the packaging (if damaged)
- Photos of the items received
10.2 Resolution
We will review your claim and work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy. Claims submitted after 7 days from delivery may not be eligible for resolution.
10.3 Packaging Damage
If the packaging is damaged but the product itself is undamaged and fully functional, this does not qualify for a replacement or refund.
11. REFUSED SHIPMENTS
If you refuse delivery of your order, you are responsible for:
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping costs
- Any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred (both outbound and return)
Refunds for refused shipments will be issued minus all applicable shipping costs and fees.
